proiektua \/ Land project<\/em>. Alicia Chillida<\/p><p>This multidisciplinary exhibition brings together in the same space different languages: the arts, architecture, the environment, sociology, philosophy, science, technology and anthropology, among others. It is structured in four chapters that group the authors that make it up: PLANT, DIALOGUE, CONSTRUCT, INHABITATE.<\/p><p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aliciachillida.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/diagrama-proy-tierra-500x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"480\" \/><\/em><\/p><p>Located on the central floor of Alh\u00f3ndiga Bilbao, on the entrance level of the building, the work by J.R. Amondarain is a <em>Children's swing<\/em> with which the author investigates new cognitive methods of education through models of art history that lead him to conceive a new model of urban furniture.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">The original plans and documents of the <em>Alh\u00f3ndiga Building<\/em> by Ricardo Bastida, 1909. Bastida's constructive ambition has ensured that his building has survived the successive renovations up to the present day. At the same time, the original model and the video documentation of the building are on display. <em>Alh\u00f3ndiga Cube Project<\/em>, which the artist Jorge Oteiza in collaboration with the architects S\u00e1enz de Oiza and Juan Daniel Fullaonda, proposed at the end of the eighties. They imagined it as the headquarters of a <em>Institute for Comparative Aesthetic Research<\/em>, a multidisciplinary center capable of providing an aesthetic education, considered as the science where all knowledge converges, and also with the political function of orchestrating the cultural dialogue of the Basque Country.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Alh\u00f3ndiga, from Arabic <em>al-fundaq<\/em> warehouse and eventual market, originally a meeting place for merchants, later a center for teaching the arts and today a marketplace for the exchange of ideas, acts as a sounding board, where the voices of the authors resonate and complement each other in a circular dialogue that emulates what happens in Basque culture in the square, the market and the fronton. As he did previously in his work <em>Stadium<\/em>, artist Antoni Muntadas imports the sound of a sporting spectacle into an art space, in this case Jai-Alai, a joyful party, a playful and political party. <em>On translation: Jai Alai<\/em> is the empty space from which the different sounds of the fronton game emerge. Muntadas continues to the present day with a line of research, initiated in the seventies, with the action <em>Hand-Ball-Wall<\/em>.<\/p><p>If Muntadas dissects the systems of representation and information that traverse the \"media landscape\" through the investigation of its invisible mechanisms, Gordon Matta-Clark, in his films, \"The Media Landscape\", \"The Media Landscape\", and \"The Media\", \"The Media Landscape\" and \"The Media\", Gordon Matta-Clark, in his films, \"The Media Landscape\". <em>Splitting<\/em> y <em>Bingo Ninths<\/em>dissects architecture in order to question the social order of the world, the interior-exterior limits and the quality of life it offers. Dar\u00edo Urzay in <em>Phaistos<\/em>constructs a meaning from the ruins and takes the opposite direction of Matta-Clark's deconstruction. They are two works that act as a reflection of each other, computer manipulated from photography, which call for the analysis of the cartographies and their dissection, revealing the architectural, historical and descriptive relationship that man establishes in his environment.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\"><em>Project Earth<\/em> continues the analysis of architecture and landscape with the creation of an environment by the Japanese studio SANAA, recently awarded the Pritzker Price, which invites us to contemplate architectural models surrounded by plants. It presents the buildings and furnishings of the authors at the same level: the <em>Maru-Maru chairsor<\/em>, or <em>the Rabbit chairs<\/em>. Within this atmosphere, the architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa present Model of the <em>Serpentine Pavilion London<\/em>, a sinuous and organic form, which, being built in reflective aluminum, works as a mirror that multiplies and takes over the park and its passers-by as well as the sky and the clouds. Within the same installation <em>Moriyama House of the Nishizawa Office<\/em> breaks with the idea of compact housing volume and breaks it up to place the fragmented parts in a plot, in such a way that it creates a magnetic flow in the circulation of its inhabitants, forcing them to look outside, to communicate.<\/p><p>\"The aesthetics of sustainability\" or thermodynamic beauty are ideas that the \u00c1balos &amp; Sentkiewicz Arquitectos studio presents in a new experimental building modality. The <em>Vertical Park<\/em>is a hybrid form resulting from the fusion of architecture, landscape and environmental techniques.<\/p><p>The dialogue between art-architecture, between social and natural landscape triggers diverse readings based on the idea of social intervention, in relation to artists who, since the 1960s, such as Matta Clark, have been investigating urban space. Like Santiago Cirugeda, with the work <em>I want a house!<\/em> which summarizes ten years of activism with the Recetas Urbanas collective, \"a history of experiences, fights and desires on the issue of housing\", in relation to the real estate bubble. Cirugeda observes the quality of life of today's citizen and encourages him to intervene in the city using domestic strategies in <em>Demountable Building<\/em>.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">The connection with the reality of the city of Bilbao, in real time, appears with the <em>La Ribera Market Integral Rehabilitation Project<\/em> carried out by Emilio Puertas Arquitectos. The building currently synchronizes the processes of demolition and reconstruction and the creation of a new square on the foundational base of the city, through an operation of almost invisible geometry and precision, with the aim of preserving the memory of the old site.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Another of the circulation links within <em>Project Earth<\/em> is the relationship\/opposition between nature and culture, which Lothar Baumgarten, an artist who presents two complementary works of new production, proposes, based on the anthropologist Claude L\u00e9vi-Strauss: <em>Breath<\/em>. The exhibition is a poetic and typographic work, which the visitor can take with him. Talking about our roots through time, the car is accessible by the public and a recording containing a sound recording made during his stay in the Amazon jungle in the late seventies is listened to. At the same time, Olatz Abrisketa projects her anthropological gaze in the video <em>Animal<\/em>, in which she raises the relationship between man and animal, in which she defends the non-privilege of human beings in the productive effort of the world.
